Fermilab subcontractors:
Fermilab continues to closely monitor the situation with the COVID-19 virus. We are taking steps to limit the risk of the COVID-19 virus being introduced to the Lab population. Fermilab is following Department of Energy guidance and is taking responsible control measures that protect the health of our staff while trying to minimize the impact on our ongoing laboratory operations.
Effective immediately, any visitor, employee, subcontractor, or sub-tier subcontractor who has come from or transited through any Department of State Travel Advisory Level 3 or 4 country driven by COVID-19 impacts in the last 14 days will not be allowed to enter the Fermilab site.
In order to protect the health and wellness of everyone working at Fermilab and to have information necessary to make the best decisions on behalf of our employees and subcontractors, we request all subcontractors working at Fermilab to voluntarily report the following information via email at covid19@fnal.gov:
• Any confirmed or presumptive cases of COVID-19 among your employees who work onsite at Fermilab
• Any confirmed or presumptive cases of COVID-19 you are aware of among employees of lower-tier subcontractors working onsite at Fermilab
If the status of Fermilab changes, we may be required to take certain actions:
• Limiting Site Access
o Personnel
o Deliveries
• Issuing Temporary Suspension of Work Notices
As the COVID-19 situation develops, Fermilab Procurement will be contacting you regarding potential/anticipated impacts to our subcontractors.
